Keto diet - You eat a very low carbohydrate and high-fat diet. By taking low carbohydrates and high fat your body starts replacing carbohydrates with fat and the body turns into a metabolic state called Ketosis. Keto diet is also used for treating mentally sick people.

This diet contains consuming very low carb, moderate protein, and high fat. This diet contains 70-75% fat, 20% protein, and 5-10% carbohydrates.

This diet needs a strong intake of vegetables mostly non-starchy vegetables like:

Cucumbers

Tomatoes

Broccoli

Onions

Mushrooms

Bell peppers

Lettuce

Cauliflower

Spaghetti Squash

Celery

Non-Starchy vegetables contain very low carbohydrates. This diet has shown significant results in helping people to lose weight also improves heart health.


Very-Low-Carb Ketogenic Diet(VLCKD): No need to explain much about this diet. A Keto diet is a very low-carb diet that's why VLCKD is a standard Keto-diet.


Well Formulated Ketogenic Diet(WFKD): This diet is also one of the standard Keto diets. Well, the Formulated Keto diet contains macronutrients of fat.


MCT Ketogenic Diet: Medium-chain triglycerides Ketogenic Diet(MCT Ketogenic Diet) is also a standard Keto diet that mainly focuses on using medium-chain triglycerides. Triglycerides are a type of fat (lipid) found in your blood.


Calorie-Restricted Ketogenic Diet: It is a standard Ketogenic diet but calorie intake is restricted to a particular amount.


Cyclical Ketogenic Diet(CKD): This diet is also known as Carb Backloading. It involves five diet days with low carbohydrate eaten and two days high carbohydrates are eaten.


Targeted Ketogenic Diet(TKD): This diet is mostly used by fitness lovers. They consume carbohydrates during workout days. During workouts, muscles demand more energy.


High Protein Ketogenic Diet:  In this diet, you take a higher amount of proteins than a standard Keto diet.
